RAISE A CHILD

Generally,new married couples want to have a child has many responsibilities such as education,nutrition and activities. I strongly disagree that everyone can raise a child.
First of all, education is the most crucial point of view.Because people have to have a well-education to raise a child.They should bring up their children in a logical way.For example,if they give a birth to a child,they have to deal with her all of things.They should help her lessons,they should do a social activity with her.So,ı think that everyone can not raise a child.
In addition,economical situation is another factor for me to advocate my opinion.If people have not good economical situation,they should not do so much children.Maybe they can have only one child because they can not deal with them very well.So, before they have a child , they should investigate their financial situation.
On the other hand , many people agree that everyone can raise a child. They think that "if ı have a child , my mother will help me and ı can bring up a child easily". Therefore, these people will get into trouble because of this point of view.
To sum up,people should realize that child have to have many neccessities. So , they think twice before they have a child. Because , this decision affects both life of parents and life of child. This is a hard question for couples but they should give a true decision about this subject.

Smoking Should be Banned

Smoking should be banned

People become addicted to cigarettes more and more in our world. Every person knows that smoking is very harmful for their body, but they do not give it up. I strongly believe that smoking should be banned.

The main reason why smoking should be banned is that it is very harmful. In other words, smokers destroy their health and people around them. For this reason, many passive and active smokers suffer from lung cancer, their teeth are yellow, and they experience problems with their respiratory system.

The second reason why smoking should be banned is money. A lot of smokers prefer to buy a pocket of cigarettes instead of vegetables or clothes for their children. If smoking is banned, nobody will be able to buy cigarettes and loads of Money will be saved.

On the other hand, some people believe that smoking helps many people to relax. For some, it improves concentration. Many people like to smoke before exams or when they are relaxing with their friends. However, it is totally wrong. On the contrary, smoking destroys their concentration. It causes, lack of concentration, forgetfulness, headaches, and general lathargy, but people think that, these syptoms are connected to their so stressful and busy life.

All in all, I strongly believe that smoking should be banned since, it is very harmful for people. If smoking is banned, many people could get healthier.

Getting Married

Marriage is a phenomenon that has been protected for centuries. Every year, millions of couples decide to marry throughout the world and marriage has not lost its importance. Marriage is the dream of the lovers. I strongly believe that people should not get married before they are 30.

To begin with, work life is one of the most important causes of getting married after 30. In today’s world, not only men but also women receive education for many years. After graduation, the majority of the students tend to participate in the post-graduate studies which last approximately 2-5 years. After they finish their post-graduate studies, they have to find a job with a high salary. They need to save some Money because getting married and becoming a family is not cheap. Because of the working life, many couples prefer to marry after 30.

In addition, there are also some other reasons why people should get married after 30. For example, when people live with their parents, the get used to which is provided by them. These people also care more about their independence, especially in their twenties. What is more, they are afraid of taking the responsibilities of getting married during theit twenties, so they think of marriage after turning 30.

On the other hand, some people think that people should get married before 30, because they want to become a family in their early ages. However; they are wrong. Marriage is a really serious thing and people who are married have to be more responsible. People, who are in their twenties, want to be more free and they might make some mistakes. Because of that they should not get married.

All things considered, I strongly agree that people should not get married before they are 30 for various reasons including work life, comfort of the parents’ house, and responsibilities. I am thinking of marriage when I am over 30.

Although the Soviet Union refused NASA’s Moon landing, NASA clearly completed this mission.

First Step on the Moon

‘’That’s one small step for a man, one giant leap for mankind.’’ said Neil Armstrong while taking his first step on the Moon. However the Soviet Union claimed that this has never happened. The United States and the Soviet Union has always a big competition about discovery of the space. Although the Soviet Union refused NASA’s Moon landing, NASA clearly completed this mission.

Firstly, when NASA first started this Apollo program which aimed at landing a man to the moon and returning him safely to the Earth, they lost some of their astronauts during their discovery mission. This project failed many times and NASA allowed us to know about their failure because that was not just a game for them. Why would anyone reveal own mistakes out of nowhere?

Second evidence of NASA’s landing to the Moon is Neil Armstrong and his astronaut friend Buzz Aldrin’s broadcast live from the Moon. When Neil Armstrong was taking his first step on the Moon the whole world was watching him. According to this event we can say that, their broadcast live from the moon was one of the amazing evidence of their landing.

On the other hand, the Soviet Union brought something up: NASA is lying!!! They said that their broadcast was fake and they did not establish a direct link with television stations for the broadcast. The video people saw was actually filmed on the huge television screen in Mission Control. However, they seem to forget that there is stone and land samples which were taken from the Moon to be analysed to get information about the surface of the Moon.

In conclusion, as it is mentioned above, there are many evidence of NASA’s landing to the moon and there is also Soviet Union’s disclaim. There was a competition between the United States and the Soviet Union about discovery of the space and their relationship was also bad in ideological and political ways. The Soviet Union apparently wanted to speculate on this achievement of NASA.

“Whoever said that money can not buy happiness,does not know where to shop!” Blair Waldorf said. All people are fond of shopping but for marginal exceptions. These exceptions consist of a high rate of men and only a few women. Women always have blind excuses to shop that might be having a bad relationship,poor financial conditions or being under depression. Shopaholics have some diversity in the way they shop. Some insist that going actual-shopping is the best way to buy something,But in my opinion online shopping is better.

Time goes like sand between our fingers! 24 hours is not enough to complete all our work. How can we spend our time at shopping? A great many of brands have their own web sites that you can check out their collections. If you go to their showroom,looking around for shopping will take more than a day.It is not acceptable to lose this precious time for those who work.Web shops are open during 24 hours so you can shop whenever you want provided that you have a bank account. You do not have to think about if they have what you need in stock because you can see how many items they have more

The second reason is that customers never want to limit themselves to only one brand. The price and quality comparison should be necessary for the consumers. How can you be sure about the best price? Just because of this internet might be your helper. You can visit different web sites at the same time and you can check and compare prices. You do not have to stick to price tags like shoping at mall.Because keeping in touch with owner who sells online involves an advantages. You can get a discount on prices.

On the other hand, the opponents of the idea of online shopping,claim that buying something online endangers people.They say that giving credit card number or ID information can cause people to get into trouble. However,they seem to forget that we can come across with wrong doers in real life as well. No one can know what life will give us at any moment. For example, sometimes people can not realize that a pickpocket steals their wallet. If these people catch you alone and at a deserted place and then force you to give all of your money, what can you do? These examples show that danger encloses our life. If you buy your stuff at reliable sites like eBay, there is no danger.

To sum up,although all of us are used to shopping at malls, we should temporize and follow the developing technology.No ques no stress,no more waste of time!It brings in more spare time for you! If something makes your life easier,why should you not try it?

EDUCATION


Education is certainly one of the vital elements which contribute to the development of a person. People have to maintain their lives with good opportunities, that is why they have to receive a good education because education enables them to have more welfare in life. As people live in prosperities, the development of a country will be carried to a good level in the future. ln my opinion, education is the single and most important in the development of a country.

First of all, education covers people's whole life. Children start school generally when they are 4 years old. During the process of their chi,dhood and teenage period, they gain a lot of experiences from their schooks or universities. They almost spend their all time at school, so they start to make different decisions or have different towards life vision, day by day. These desicions and visions construct people's character and their habits.

Furthermore, the rate of ignorant people gradually increase due to lack of educTion. ln each country, one of the most important things is well-educated people. A well-educated person tries to improve himself in terms of varrious issues. To illustrate, they read different novels, they do research on the internet or at libraries and all these contribute to people's development and as well as countries' development. Unless they do research from different sources, they cannot avoid being ignorant.

Moreover, receiving a good education life, can help people find a good job. Uneducated people generally prefer to run their own bussiness, but this is not a guaranteed career. With education one can guarantee his future. For example, they can be a doctor, teacher or lawyer with education. At the end of this education process these people can earn money to make a living.

The opponents of the education claim that family culture is the single and most important factor in the development of a country. They think that people must behave according to the their culture. To spelling, they must maintain their family's job, otherwise they cannot show success throughout their life. There are many examples of this issue different city of Turkey.

All in all, people must realise that education is the most vital thing in the development of a country. People cannot do anything without education, and their country cannot develop. All people must be aware of the importance of education and all families guide their children in the way through education. If they do so, they will certainly see its benefits on the human life.

Why Do You Need to Travel?

Our planet is too big for our short lives but we can fit many places which are worth to see to our life. In this way, we can see lots of natural beauty, historical places and also unexplored places by traveling. Sadly, most of us do not have time to travel but we need to travel and we should create time for our psychology, our wisdom and our development in this life

The first reason why you need to travel is, travelling heals the psychology. Exploring new places makes us feel happy. Having a vacation provides us to be relax. Also being in a different environment, talking to different people teaches us to look different perspective to life. Thinking more than one side to life effects our psychology in a positive way. Moreover, we have a new experiences to talk about. We can write about our travel time to our journal or blog. In this way, we encourage people to travel like us. Encouraging people makes us feel happy and excited. Psychologically we reach the relief with the help of travelling.

Secondly, our wisdom will be increased if we become a traveler. Facing with other cultures, trying different tastes, learning other peoples lives are promote the relations between us and other people. Human is curious creature and learning becomes non-stop activity when we are travelling. Travelling flows our fountain of wisdom.

The final reason why you need to travel is, travelling develops us. For example, if you are travelling for your job to other countries, you can get more customers for your work and you can be successful and earn more money. Communication with foreign people and visit them in other countries develops us and also develops our country.

On the other hand, some thinkers try to be assure us to reading can be solve all about these excursionist philosophy. I think when we are reading we can create our world but travelling shows us to explore real world.

In conclusion, we need to create more time for travelling. Stocking in same place can not bring us any improvement. With travelling we had more positive psychology, great wisdom and development.

Love Or Marriage

One of the fundementals of society is marriage.However ,is marriage may eliminate the emotions from a relationship.That is why ,in these days ,divorce rates are high.This is because I choose this topic.When one falls in love ,he may thinkt that he has to get married but I believe marriage kills love for many reasons.

The first reason for supporting the idea that marriage kills love is that both partners can not share anything . For instance ,before marriage they go to the cinema regulerly but once married they quıt this hobit. They do some activites and see each other everyday, so they start to get bored of each other.

Moreover ,when one get married , he may have more economic and personel responsibilities. The time economic problems start ,partners start arguing regularly since they can not supoort their families .In addition to this , if one has a family,he bares the responsibilities of his beha viours.

The final and the most important reason why marriage kills love is restriction of freedom.A married person is expected to some home early since marriage means aregular life. In addition to this , one may not go out with his friends and stoy in his friends house.In time , it turns into a boring life for each partner and love is killed.

The opponents of the idea that marriage kills love claim that it is completely wrong.They think that when one gets married and has children ,love is protected even more .However ,they seen to forget that children may mean problem for the couple.If one has children , he has to deal with their problems . For instance ,when children have problem about their marks it effects the family and causes many arguements betweens the wife and husband.

In conclusion, marriage kills love. As long as one is married , he may have many issues such as restriction of freedom,responsibilities and hobbies. I think that one should not marry because the best may to fall in love forever is that ıf one has no concern about his partners and let everything go as much as possible.Only an this way may love lost forever.

Television and Children

Television has been a popular electronical device since its invention.People from all ages watch TV because there are every kind of programmes in it.However,children are the most faithful viewers.Many children spend an average of 2 hours a day in front of TV.Unfortunately,TV is harmful for children.No matter what the opponents say,it has a bad effect on children.

The first reason why TV is bad for children is that it causes health problems.Scientists claim that children who watch TV an average of 3 hours a day are under the risk of obesity.Many children are overweight because thet do not move while watching TV ,and,furthermore,thet eat junk food.At the same time,it causes poor eye-sight.In short,it prevents the development of a healthy brain, as well as physical,and social development of a child.

The second reason why TV is bad for children is that TV characters can be bad role models for children.Many TV characters wild and dangerous.Therefore,children can tend to show violent behaviour.Smoking and drinking are most common amongst the TV characters.In other words, TV accelerates the consumption of alcohol and cigarettes.For this reason, many children start drinking alcohol and smoking in early ages.

On the other hand,the opponets of the idea of TV is bad for children claim that TV is educational for children.However,they seem to forget that because of TV,children can fail to socialize.They cannot find time for a lot of educational things such as reading,doing homework,playing with friends and spending time with family.At this point,it is clear that TV is not beneficial and as educational as social life.

In conclusion,although some people think that TV is useful for children , apparently TV badly affects children.In my opinion,TV-time should be limitted by parents for children's development,education and health.They should just watch informative TV programmes and this time should not exceed an hour.

People get more and more unsociable with the Internet.

Is the Internet Cleaning Up the Social Life?
The Internet is a technological device which eases our lives in many ways. We can reach numerous sorces, or we can get connected to each other using many kinds of ways. However, I want to mention, the Internet’s negative effects on peope’s lives, one of which is isolation from the society. I strongly believe that people get more and more unsociable with the Internet.

In the first place, people are addicted to the Internet. People are getting used to virtual social networks. Therefore, they waste their time, sometimes the whole day by chatting. Moreover, they are using the Internet also their cellphones. Even in the family dinners, some family visits cellphones are in their hands to chat. Instead of living the moment, people lose their connection with the real world.
The other significant problem is that people participate social activities less than before. Internet eases our lives, many people do not feel the need to go out to go to the cinema, visiting museums and historical places, or going to libraries, because the Internet provide us with all the information. Therefore, people do not read books or they do not watch films at cinemas, because they download lots of films, visit historical places on the Internet. Therefore, the importance of the social ambiance is lost day by day.

The final point is about losing communication skills. People are getting use to communicate with short writings on the chatting. They do not express themselves so effectively, like they do when using body language, gestures or talking in an effective voice. Also, the value of the eye contact is disappearing, because people are talking with a computer screen. Thus, especially the new generation is doing insincere face to face dialogues.

On the other hand, the proponents of the idea that Internet enhances social relationships claim that, Internet invigorate people’s social life. However, they seem to forget that, unless the people actually experience, and share some speacial moments together, a real social life cannot be mentioned there.
All in all, everybody uses the Internet, but I believe that it should be used only when people really need it, instead of the other way around.

Fist of all, we have to know about Tarot symbols. Symbols in Tarot are religion, astrology, philosophy, which is easy to understand or their keeping secret ideas can be appeared. Everybody can also read and understand with some practices. Tarot enables their uniqe awereness to make excellent reading for themselves as well as others.

Furthermore, the Tarot cards are divided into four elemental suits. Fire , Earth, Air and Water are meanings of elements are. Fire is a creative beginnig. Earth is a material beginning. Air is a thought or idea beginning. And the last one Water symbolizes the emergence of an emotion.

The opponents of Tarot cards, claim that it is religiously wrong. However ,they seem to forget that the Tarot cards are not there to take away the power of God. We believe Tarot never effects on people’s life in a bad way and there is no harmful effect on their ideas.

To conclude, Tarot reading is not damage for people as long as they do not let it take control of their believes and daily routines. In our opinion, it is a form of imagination and hope for times when you need something to colour your life ,and you feel hopeless and do not know how to act.

    For  many years, a lot of people prefer to show their success with the help of many documents because they want to prove it. This situation can be abserved in our education system.Exams have always been one of the most important concepts in our school lives to pass the class and show our success. Although, many people claim that exams are actually necessary for students.
    The main claim of many supporters of the idea that exams are useful is that the exam grades, make students easily realize, in which subjects they are insufficient and need more study. Therefore, exams prompt them to consider their weakness, improve them, that they can be more successful.
    Secondly, exams are important to make students become more motivated and they make tenacity to take high grades, because they want to show their friends that they are the most diligent students. Moreover, they think that because of their high grades, their tutors and their families would appreciate them. Therefore, exams are motivating for the students.
     The main idea of the opponents of the exams suppose that this system affects students psychologically. By taking low grades, students start to lose their self-esteem and they feel themselves like a complete failure. However, they seem to forget that modivation positively affects students psychology. Students begin to study a lot of  because they start to realize they can achieve something.
     In conclusion, having considered both sides of the argument I must say exams are important in our lives because they make us more disciplined and motivated. In addition, it is a chance to improve our knowledge to know how much we know and how much we miss about a certain subject.

Animals should not be used as laboratory tools.

There are lots of species living together in the world such as people, plants, animals. They coexistin harmony living. Plants help people in many aspects of life by giving oxygen. Animals help people in many aspects of life by proctecting their houses or buildings, supplying them with food etc. People also use animals in their scientific experiements. Especially mice, frogs, monkeys are used in thesescientific tests. However, people should not forget about the animals’ rights. Animals should not be used as laboratory tools for many reasons.

The first reason is that animals suffer from these tests. Sometimes this suffering is in vain because some scientific tests are not succesful all the time. When people see the animals are suffering in pain, people can go Animal’s Rights Society and complain.

The second reason is that animal species can be extinct if scientist keep using animals in their scientific tests. It brakes natural food chain. If scientists use snakes in the scientific tests, snakes may not eat mice, so fields and houses may be invaded by mice. Scientists should know they should not use animals in laboratory.

The opponents of the idea that animals should not be used as laboratory tools claim that if animals are not used in the scientific tests, people can use laboratory tools. However, they seem to forget that scientists have to find a cure for disease. When scientist are not able to find a cure for a disease, people can die of these disease.

To sum up, before scientists use the animals as laboratory tools for many reasons, they should always remember that the animals also have rights. In my opinion, using animals in the laboratory can be wrong, so scientists can find different method of finding cure for disease.

This report is about the book called “Great Expectations” and it was written by “Charles Dickens”.

It was first published in 1999 and consists of 114 pages including activities about the book.

Summary

Philip Pirrip, in short Pip; lost his parents and live with his sister Mrs Gargery and her warm hearted blacksmith husband Joe. When Pirrip was a child he used to go to the graveyard of his parents. One day thought the graveyard, the man with shabby clothes threaded Pirrip to bring him a metal file and some food. The man used a metal file to open the iron weight on his one leg and ate the food wildly with a forced help of Pirrip. Pirrip realized that he helped that man’s jailbreak.

When he was old enough, Pirrip started to go rich old women, Miss Havisham’s house for work and play. Miss Havisham was a strangest lady Pirrip had seen. She was wearing all white like a bride but the white colored rich dresses are faded. Miss Havisham has a sad story. Once upon a time she abandoned by her fiancé. Also there is a beautiful girl called Estella who is living with Miss Havisham. Pirrip was in love with Estalla at the first sight but the girl was arrogant to Pirrip.

Pirrip wanted to marry Estella but he thought he was not enough for her and with a great expectations he went to London to had success in his life. Miss Havisham sent to Estalla to London too. She wanted her to learn how to become a lady and also she has a plan. Miss Havisham was aware of Pirrip’s interest on Estella. Because of her sad story, she did not believe in Pirrip’s attention and she try to provoke Estella. Miss Havisham wanted to take revenge from men with using Estalla and Estalla married Mr. Drummle to broke Pirrip’s heart. Miss Havisham later apologizes to Pirrip as she's overtaken by guilt.

Althought the broken heart, Pirrip had a success in England and also he has a benefactor. He become very rich. Pirrip was adopted by a rich person when he was little but he did not know the name of that rich person. He thought s/he is Miss Havisham.

When Pip was walking to his house he encounter to strange man about his sixties. Pirrip asked him who did he looking for and he answered Pirrip. Pirrip learned he was his benefactor with complete amazement. He was the man who escaped jail when Pirrip was child and he was injured. There was a blood on his hands. He remained Pirrip that day and thanked him for helping him.

Eleven years later, Pirrip visited Miss Havisham’s old house for Estella’s memory. He heard she had

unhappy life, divorced from his husband. Also he heard she was death. When he was thinking of her he saw

Estella behind him. Estella said how sorry she is and then they decided to be friends forever

Character Description

* Philip Pirrip : He is the main character of the book. He is an orphan who is raised by his sister and his sister’s husband. He had great expectations in life and he wanted to become gentleman.

* Mrs. Joe Gargery : She is Pirrip’s sister and she had bad tempered character.

* Joe Gargery : He is the husband of Pirrip’s sister and he works as a blacksmith.

* Mr. Pumblechook : Joe Gargery's uncle, an officious bachelorand he is the person who first connected Pirrip to Miss Havisham and Estella.

* Miss Havisham : An old, strange and rich woman who lost her love and become revengeful to men.

* Estella : Miss Havisham’s adopted daughter and the girl Pirrip is in love.

*The Convict : He is escape from prison and Pirrip helps him kindly. Also he is the Pirrip’s benefactor.

Favorite Character

My favorite character is Miss Havisham because of her emotional character. Inside of her she has a good personality but she had disappointment in her life. Also she is helpful person because she adopted a girl and give job for little boy. She had effective way to assure people around her and it is not about money.

Miss Havisham lost her love when they are engaged. Her beloved leaved her and she will become desperate and mad. She wanted to take revenge from men. These bad feelings are changes her in a mental way and these change reflected to her appearance too. She always wears pale and faded white dresses like a bride with luxury jewelries.

In my imagination she looks like she is in Gothic Century, lives in dark and glorious demesne covered wild ivies. Probably she is mentally fall but she is always being a lady. Although she had bad feelings about men, she had good emotions and she is helpful person.

Setting Description

The story takes places between Philip’s home town which is not described and London – England. The style of book includes two types; romance and drama. The mood of the story is very deep and emotional.

Theme Description

The main idea about the story is exerting the effort to follow our desires. The costs are not important for our expectations. Also friendship, family and love is more important than money and fame.

My Opinion

In my opinion, the book has an important main idea and the writer has a good expression. I will absolutely recommend this book to others because it has affected me in an instructive way. Also I enjoyed reading the story which is very fluent.

Also the book has a movie which is modernization of Charles Dickens classic story finds the hapless Finn as a painter in New York pursuing his unrequited and haughty childhood love.

No matter what people think, it is necessary for everyone to help the victims of the earthquake in Van.

An earthquake is shaking of the ground caused by movement of the Earth's crust.In much of the world, earthquakes are common disasters.A month ago, an earthquake which was of 7.2 magnitude, hit Van,Turkey.Many people living there were influenced.Some aid teams immediately moved to help the victims while some others did not.Also, some other people said that Turkish people should not help the victims living in Van.This issue is a very controversial one and has attracted a lot of debate.No matter what people think, it is necessary for everyone to help the victims of the earthquake in Van.

The first reason to help people in Van is that it is wrong to turn a blind eye to a disaster.After the earthquake, many homes,dormitories and schools unfortunately collapsed.Moreover, the air conditions were not good.Soon after the earthquake, it started to snow and the weather got freezing cold.Yet, people were not able to protect themselves from cold mainly because they were living in tents.

The second reason to help the earthquake victims in Van is to show that there is no racism among people in Van.Many people know that there are two communities living there which are Turkish and Kurdish.These communities have always lived together there.They dealt with enemies.For instance, they fought together at Kurtulus War.Taking this into consideration, people have to help Kurdish people and accept them as equal citicens.

On the other hand,the opponents of the idea of helping people in Van, claim that these people do not engrave this help as they are against Turkish people and republic.Also, they throws stones to Turkish forces.However, they seem to forget that a conscientious person always assists people who are in need of help.In addition to this, Hz.Muhammed the prophet, said that ''If someone throws a stone at you, you should throw back a rose.'' emphasizing the importance of patience and tolerance.

In conclusion, although some people say that helping people who live in Van is unnecessary, the majority claim the opposite.One person should always help victims no matter where they live.
